When you buy a ProWarm™ mat and thermostat, as part of one of our kits, you get the rest of the kit accessories thrown in for free!

These mats MUST be installed in conjunction with ProFoam™ or XPS Insulation and Heat Pak Dual Overlay which are not included in the kit.

Heat Pak Dual Overlay must NOT be used in bathrooms, wetrooms, en-suites or any other wet areas as they will expand upon contact with moisture. If installing carpet or vinyl in any of these areas, you must use the 150w underfloor heating mat or loose cable with a 10mm of fibrous self-levelling compound. Please speak to technical for further details 01268 567019.

Please ensure when installing that the carpet and underlay's combined tog value does not exceed 2.0, please note in most cases when carpet is laid underfloor heating cannot be used as a primary heat source.

Each ProWarm™ under carpet / under vinyl heating system and thermostat comes with a Lifetime Warranty. Please note this Warranty does not cover HeatMiser and AUBE thermostats as these brands are covered by their own manufacturer's warranty.

 

Please choose an electric underfloor heating mat that will cover 90% of your floor area. It is best to order slightly less than you need than have too much as the cables CAN NOT be cut or shortened.

Please ensure all Safety Guidelines are adhered to during and after installation of this product.

Electric under carpet / under vinyl heating kits contain the following items:

ProWarm™ Underfloor Carpet / Under Vinyl Heating Mat (or 2 mats if over 12m2)

• ProWarm™ systems are only 2mm in thickness making our cables one of the thinnest on the market today.
• ProWarm™ heating systems are constructed using multi strand wires making them extremely tough

The ProWarm™ Under Carpet / Vinyl system is an ultra-thin electric radiant floor heating system primarily for use under carpet, vinyl, Amtico & Karndean floor finishes. An advantage of using this system is the ease of installation, as there is no need for any levelling compounds. Installation is quick, clean and dry making it an easier option for installers as there is no need for self-levelling. The low heat resistance allows heat to pass through the floor finish without any reduction to the efficiency, evenly distributing the heat and alleviating any hot spots.

This heating system is made with Fluoropolymer insulated heating cables. These are sandwiched between two layers of specially reinforced aluminium foil. The uniform spacing of the heating elements, further backed by the aluminium foil, ensures even heat distribution. The heating element is connected to a power-supply cable, which exits the laminate mat from one corner. The power lead is a flat thin two core flexible cord, consisting of two insulated conductors with a metal sheath and an outer sheath. This type of underfloor heating is available in a heat outputs of 140 W/m². It is available in predetermined lengths with cold tail – prefabricated & tested in a carefully controlled factory environment.

The Hot and Cold lead junctions are uniquely designed to make them 100% foolproof.
