Installation

The installation method for ProWarm™ XP-PRO boards depends on the type of heating system being installed:

• Underwood Heating System: Lay the boards in a staggered brick bond pattern, and then place the heating mat directly over the boards for optimal performance.
• Under Tile System: When using XP-PRO boards for under tile systems (suitable for concrete subfloors only), the boards must be securely fixed to the subfloor using a suitable flexible tile adhesive. This ensures stability and proper heat distribution for your underfloor heating system.

ProWarm™ XP-PRO Boards can be installed differently according to the type of heating system being installed.

For our underwood heating system they are simply laid in a staggered brick bond pattern and the heating mat is laid over the top.

For undertile systems (these boards are only suitable for concrete subfloors in this situation) then the boards need to be stuck to the subfloor with a suitable flexible tile adhesive.
